October 1st 2011

Already October. Wow! I can't believe it. I love this time of year. I love the cool nights and the feel in the air just says fall. I am going to miss this season and our mountains with all their glorious color.
We now have 1 month and 6 days left to get ready to leave.
This morning John and I went to Jerry Robertson's funeral. Oh what a nice funeral it was. His children gave such a fine tribute to their dad. Those children have been real troopers and a great support for their mom. Each time we went to see Bobbi and Jerry their kids were gathered around him . They were busy loving him, kissing him on the head and trying to care for his needs. You just felt so much love whenever you were at their home. We will miss Jerry.

It is also conference weekend . My boys, all of them, came over and went  priesthood with John. Sam came from guard and even Devon came.
It was so wonderful to see them all together. I love to be around and hear them talk and tell stories.I just love the fact they can all share this priesthood bond. This is the kind of joy that makes you so happy you could cry.
 I have great sons. 
 I am so proud of each one of them.
